The first inception of the company by Rod Hamilton back in 1968. for 20 years, selling dimmers and manufacturing products in his room in Teddington, London. The origins of the Linea collection trace back to the late 1980s, when Rod’s son Ian Hamilton first conceptualised a two-part, interchangeable switch and socket plate. The original design drawings, completed in 1989, introduced a modular system that allowed customers to combine different finishes and frame styles — offering both flexibility and personalisation. Today, Hamilton still holds the values of a core family business, priding itself on hand-crafting designs and customer satisfaction.
